At Spark, we do our homework well. Before meeting any client, we would do a thorough research on their business, and try and identify how we can value-add through our creative expertise. The pain points could be aplenty. The client might be having a great product, but maybe their branding isn’t strong enough? What about their marketing collaterals? Are they designed well enough to catch the audience’s attention? Invariably the solution lies in asking these simple questions.

Proposing what works best for you
Putting our hand up to every request to say “we can do it for you” is NOT the solution. The solution lies in educating the client on the different available options, and suggesting which one is most suitable for their needs. For example, if it’s a long and complex process that they need to explain simply and succinctly, then perhaps a whiteboard animation is what they need. Or if they have budget constraints, then how about a simple photomatic video?

This is the longest and most intensive part of the exercise, which essentially determines the efficacy of the end product. From there, we pick out the best ideas, and keep filtering them through the creative funnel – working and reworking them – until we finally reach that Eureka moment, where we are convinced what we have produced will help your brand sell.
